Fall Time = Gutter Cleaning

It's not a fun job, you don't really see them. Can I just push the job off until next year? If left uncleaned this simple cost effective task of gutter cleaning could end up costing you thousands of dollars!

What could possibly happen if I don't clean my gutters?

Especially during the fall season gutters get clogged with leaves, debris, and twigs. When debris collects it makes a prefect little home for rodents, mold, pests, and even bees. Even more damaging than rodents can be the water damage caused by clogged gutters. When water does not drain properly it pools up on the the roof causing a leaky roof, or water damage to the interior or exterior of the home. Once water damage sets in or rodents move in you small task of gutter cleaning has exploded into a large expense.

When should I have them cleaned?

Fall is a good time. Don't wait until all of the leaves have fallen. It may be too late. Maybe people have their gutters cleaned two times a year. It really depends of the type of trees and how many trees you have surrounding your house. Some people have them cleaned two times during the fall season.

Gutter Cleaning should be on everyones to-do list this fall!
